Favorite smoothie bowl for the cold season.
I've been making smoothies and smoothie bowls each morning for the last couple of months and seen great changes to my skin, digestion and energy levels! Since it's been so cold here in Virginia lately I figured my family needs an extra immune system boost and came up with delicious creamy goodness. The main cold fighting ingredients here are turmeric and ginger, known for their antibacterial and anti-inflammatory qualities. Mango an pineapple has ton of vitamin and C and other vitamins.
Creamy Coconut Turmeric Smoothie Bowl is my favorite smoothie for this time of the year. Made with coconut milk, fresh ginger, banana and mango, it’s the perfect healthy, vegan breakfast. During winter months out immune system needs all the help it can get and this bowl is a perfect pick me up in the morning to start your day strong.
2 Bananas, Frozen
1 Piece Ginger, Fresh
1/4 cup Mango chunks, Frozen
1 Mango chunks
1/4 cup Pineapple chunks, Frozen
300 ml Coconut milk
2 tsp Honey/maple syrup
2 tsp Turmeric
1 Coconut flakes, Toasted
Blend frozen bananas, ginger, frozen mango, frozen pineapple chunks, coconut milk, honey, and turmeric. Pour smoothie in the bowl add chopped banana, mango chunks, and cocnut flakes.
